A new premium range from Good Intentions Winery made of Andrew's single vineyards. After a tedious work or reviving an old block of abandoned Chardonnay grapes (1 hectare) and after a conversion to organic farming, Andrew was ready to release this under a new range. It's a small vineyard located on the foothill of Mount Gambier, on stunning volcanic soils, close to the well-known blue lake.
Made with care, the idea is to keep the terroir expression, the purity. The directly pressed Chardonnay is aged in barrel for a year and in bottle for a few months before release. A wine of elegance and energy, lots of freshness and acidity in the wine, balanced by a lovely ripeness and a gentle oak ageing. Notes of citrus, lemon curd and an almost nutty (jura'esque) element.
