Andrew and Louise's vineyards are planted on the fertile soil of Mount Gambier (SA), where the volcanic soil type is mainly made of limestone with flint pockets which brings freshness and minerality into the style of their wines. Andrew believes in minimal interference in the winemaking process. This organically grown Pinot Noir is a juicy number fermented with a bit of whole bunch and aged in french oak barrels. Unfined, unfiltered and has little of So2 added.
This Chardonnay resemble some great french expression of the grape variety planted in Auvergne with lots of elegance, freshness, a real expression of the 'terroir'. The grapes are hand harvested and aged in old oak barrels to add some texture.
Great balance, freshness, notes of lemon, citrus, fruity and spicy, mineral drive.
