Made by brothers Benoit and Sebastien Danjou Bannessy, in the south part of France in Roussillon, the winery was founded by their ancestors many centuries ago. The Domaine benefits of beautiful terroirs and landscape, the vines are thriving in those rocky black schistes soils.

All Biodynamically farmed.

This cuvee "La Truffiere" is made from an endemic grape variety to the region called Carignan Noir with some Grenache Noir and Mourvedre, the grapes are hand harvested due to the age of those old vines (60 years to 80 years old vines).

The wine is barrel aged for 20 months in oak barrels.

REVIEW : "I have a hard time getting my head around the fact that a Roussillon red can have the finesse of Vosne-Romanée. This wine has purity; it is, quite simply, diaphanous in texture. It is unique. It is has a beautiful soul." 17.5 points, Tamlyn Currin for JancisRobinson.com. July 2020.
