
Made by legendary brothers Cyril and Fabien in the Loire Valley - this biodynamic Domaine mainly grows Cabernet Franc on different types of soils.
The St Nicolas de Bourgueil is a 100% Cabernet Franc from the oldest vines of the estate (average 80 years old), aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
The cuvée "Dionysos" is a full, round red wine with a deep black/purple colour. Aromas of juicy dark raspberries, forest floor and subtle spices. This wine will become more expressive with time. A concentration from the old vines giving a beautiful tannin structure and great depth, lifted by a stony acidity, saline minerals and an earthy finish.
The wine will taste softer and more rich with 30 minutes of decanting.
Pairing- Beef Burgers or Beef Stew, Meatballs in Tomato Sauce, also pairs very well with any fragrant herbs like thyme, rosemary, oregano or sage.
