A dream pack to explore one of our favourite grape varieties : Chenin Blanc.
You will find 3 different expressions of the Chenin Blanc from our Loire Valley producers. You can start with the Patrice Colin "Pierre a Feu" from Coteaux Vendomois, a lively and flinty Chenin Blanc organically grown. Then, you can sip on a more polished style of Chenin crafted meticulously by a young couple Tanguy Perrault & Anne Cecille Jadaud from the Vouvray appellation. This biodynamic and barrel fermented wine is precise, complex with a lot of texture showing notes of apple and quince. And lastly, a recent addition to our collection is the minimum intervention Chenin Blanc by Bruno Dubois in Saumur . The single vineyard wine is fermented in terracotta jars during 10 months, displaying fresh stone fruit aromas (white peach) with lovely floral notes. The palate is medium-bodied, round and balanced, with a subtle tangy note and a long, crisp finish.
Chenin Blanc pairs beautifully with freshwater fish or goat cheese such as Crottin de Chavignol.
