1 x Crozes Hermitage rouge 2020
1 x Cornas rouge 2019
1 x Cote Rotie 2018
Starting with a complex and subtle Syrah from Crozes Hermitage. It's an elegant wine, very floral on the notes - hints of violets, with the typical local aromatic plants find in the south of France (thyme, rosemary) with notes of dark red fruits, red plums. It's spicy, meaty, cherries and moka notes. The wine has a deep cassis color leading to purple. The wine is powerful on the palate and shows smooth tannins from the ageing in oak.
Secondly you will get a Syrah from Cornas is one of the smallest appellations in all of France, and is known for its earthy Syrah—the only grape that can be grown on the steep sand, granite, and limestone slopes of the west side of the Rhône River.
Third wine is the star of Syrah - the most premium of the three, is the "Schistes" Cote Rotie. Iconic appellation that started to blend their Syrah with a touch of Viognier to balance out the wine and make a subtle - elegant wine.
Deep ruby color. Nose hints at red fruit, blue fruit and a touch floral. Supple texture with lovely Syrah spice underneath. Round with nice underlying acidity and well-integrated tannin on the finish.
