Brothers Benoit and Sebastien Danjou are Catalans, but their estate, Domaine Danjou-Banessy, was founded by their ancestors in Roussillon many centuries ago. They come from a long family lineage of winemakers, where the work ethos has always highlighted a respect for the environment. The terroir in this part of the south of France is magical, with a reputation for soils of schist which make extremely fresh and elegant wines .
Supernova is made of Muscat d'Alexandrie left on skin for three weeks and then aged for 10 months in barrels.
A beautiful orange in colour with aromatic notes of bergamot tea, litchi, rose petal & lime. On the palate the wine is lively, dry and subtle with some lovely gentle tannins.
A charming treasure to enjoy in moderation even if it's only 11.5 % abv.
