The Rolet Family farms and bottles their own wines, they farm Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir. Jura is a region next to Burgundy, in the start of the mountain range 'the alps' That region has been recently under the spot light, as the wines were unknowned from the rest of the world. They are highly appreciated now, especially for the history of that region in wine, but also due to their Jurassic limestone soils, and unknown local grape varieties, we are getting high demand for those wines.
This 100% Poulsard old vines, is a light bodied wine, showing a real sensitivity. Strong aromas of crushed strawberries on the nose, spices and eathy notes. It's delicate and charming at the same time. The palate is fresh, with crunchy red fruits and an interesting concentration of tannins from the old vines.
