Brothers Benoit and Sebastien Danjou are Catalans, but their estate, Domaine Danjou-Banessy was founded by their ancestors in Roussillon many centuries ago. They come from a long family lineage of winemakers, where the work ethos has always highlighted a respect for the environment. The terroir in this part of the south of France is magical, with a reputation for soils of schist which make extremely fresh and elegant wines .
Supernova is unique and one of the best references for the new wave of skin contact wine. It's made of Muscat d'Alexandrie left on skin for three weeks and then aged for 10 months in barrels.
A beautiful orange in colour with aromatic notes of bergamot tea, litchi, rose petal & lime. On the palate the wine is lively, dry and subtle with some lovely gentle tannins.
