This Chenin Blanc from Patrice Colin is from a vineyard slightly north to Vouvray in the Loire Valley. Patrice works his vines using organic methods.
The area is known for having flinty soils, producing energetic and pure wines.
Aromas of baked apples, candied, the palate is mineral with a generous fruit, ripe fruits hints of mirabelle, prune and spices. Great wine to pair with a fish dish, or cheese, even for aperitif !
