Pinot Noir from 45 year old vines planted on Kimmeridgian marls soils. Grapes are handpicked and fermented with natural yeast before a short post ferment maceration to smooth out the tannins. The wine is aged in 400L barrels for 12 months before bottling, and a further ageing of 10 years at the estate.
A deep red colour with intense aromas or violets, red cherry and black currant. The palate is generous, with concentrated fruit and firm but silky tannins and a long finish.
