Claire Naudin took over the family estate Domaine Naudin Ferrand in 1994 with her own vision. She is a strong believer in the principle of wine making that is respectuous of the environment and the local ecosystems. She refuses standardization, preferring a traditional craftswomanship approach. Here you will find traditional Burgundy wine, full of emotion.
This Pinot Noir from the Northern part of burgundy slope is showing elegant darker fruits. Claire leaves the grapes macerated during 13 days and starts the fermentation with natural yeasts, aged then in small oak barrels for 12 months with 20% new oak. Dark purple color, aromas of blue fruit and floral notes, the fruit is silky, vibrant balanced with lovely soft tannins. A true marvel !
